PICNIC Festival Day 1: Meet the Green Challenge Winners!
Postcode Lottery Green Challenge announced the three winner's of this year's competition in a festive ceremony at PICNIC Festival 2012.

The audience in Cinema 1 was on the edge of their seats awaiting the announcement of winners for the Postcode Lottery Green Challenge.
After presenting their green business plans earlier in the day, a total of three finalists were chosen a to go to New York to compete for a 500,000 euro grand prize. After the final competition on 23 September, the two runner-ups will each receive 100,000 euro prizes. Without futher ado, here the three 2012 winners:
- Nick Gerritsen - New Zealand (CarbonScape)
- Molly Morse - USA (Mango Materials)
- Daan Weddepohl - The Netherlands (Peerby)
Molly Morse also won the Facebook Favorite competition, which wins her a face-to-face meeting with sustainability expert William McDonough.
The Postcode Lottery Green Challenge is an international competition for sustainable entrepreneurs. Held annually, the Postcode Lottery organizes this competition to challenge people around the world to develop sustainable, creative and innovative business plans.
