Ronald was born in Vijfhuizen, a small town village tied up between Haarlem and Amsterdam. He studied Law in Amsterdam, graduated and worked for a while as a lawyer. Ronald found out soon that he liked working on a readable article more than drawing up a subpoena. So he did a master in journalism and worked for the newspaper (NRC Handelsblad), television (Het Gesprek and AT5) and radio (BNR Nieuwsradio). He now is an all round reporter and enthusiastic host for television and radio.
