“New Ownership”: A Trend that Matters for Companies and Organizations
Citizens, consumers, partners, suppliers and employees. All are playing an increasingly important role in activities such as product development, service delivery, science and research, decision-making, learning and production processes.
Their active involvement, a new kind of ownership, is having a major impact on a wide range of industries. It is causing major disruptions in everything from retail, education, politics, health care, journalism, media consumption, resource conservation to intellectual property regulation.
PICNIC Festival 2012 will be one of Europe's largest gatherings focused innovation and creativity. The Festival will be an active learning environment where companies and organizations can better understand this ‘new ownership’ shift and start developing their response to it. At the Festival, they will interact with experts and thought leaders and collaborate with the disruptors who are leading this shift.
The Festival’s programming will focus on the impact of “new ownership” in six main areas:
• health/life sciences
Festival participants will be able to choose from a wide range of concurrent activities. Programming will include:
• interactive debates and discussions
• co-creation workshops
• start up competitions
• SME exhibition
• networking activities
