Het publiek wordt steeds grijzer en met de crisis is de urgentie om op zoek te gaan naar nieuw publiek alleen maar sterker geworden. De vraag is alleen hoe – en hoe houd je ze vast?

Twee unieke workshops over marketing en programmering. Voor: directies, programmeurs, curatoren, marketingmanagers en andere leidinggevenden van culturele instellingen. De workshops zijn inhoudelijk op elkaar afgestemd maar ze zijn ook afzonderlijk van elkaar te volgen.

WORKSHOP 1: PROGRAMMERING EN PARTICIPATIE
Programmeren vanuit de dialoog met je publiek. Het is nog net geen vloeken in de kerk, maar het wordt toch zeker als een gevaar voor artistieke kwaliteit gezien. In Engeland zijn ze die angst allang voorbij.

WORKSHOP 2: MARKETING EN PUBLIEKSBEREIK
Hoe maak je het aanbod aantrekkelijk voor een publiek dat je nog niet kent? Hoe zit de publieksmarkt in elkaar? Hoe bereik ik een voor mij onbekend publiek? Motivaction is volledig thuis in publieksonderzoek en marketingstrategieën. De HEMA weet als geen ander een breed ‘publiek’ aan zich te binden zonder concessies te doen aan het aanbod en de uitstraling.

CRASH COURSE CULTUREEL ONDERNEMERSCHAP >>>>>>> Dit najaar organiseert binoq een crash course cultureel ondernemerschap. Deze training is bedoeld voor managers en leidinggevenden (zowel zakelijk als artistiek) in de cultuursector, die op zoek zijn naar concrete handvatten op het gebied van ondernemerschap en leiderschap.

Hoe haal je het beste uit jezelf en uit je organisatie, zonder daarbij oog te verliezen voor het spanningsveld zakelijk – artistiek? Hoe richt je je bedrijfsvoering effectief in en wat moet je doen om je financiën in evenwicht te houden? In deze training ontwikkel je een strategische visie en praktische vaardigheden aan de hand van korte workshops van ervaren docenten, aangevuld met casussen en gastdocenten uit de culturele praktijk. Een aantal directeuren van culturele instellingen zal in het programma participeren om de theorie in te bedden in dagelijkse praktijk.

One of the key challenges we see in today’s society is how to cope with new definitions and business models: of value exchange, ownership and access. We see so many new initiatives, like Whipcar, Zopa, Kantox, Spullendelen and Airbnb that we found it’s about time to take a deep dive!
 
Together with ABN AMRO and Dialogues Incubator, we would like to invite you for an inspirational session, to explore these disruptive models for your business together with innovation/strategy colleagues from eBay, Philips, Microsoft, Alliander, government, various startups and other organizations.
 
Questions will be:
• Bottom-up value exchange networks – how can businesses participate successfully?
• From an ownership to access economy: What are the key barriers to adoption of this model?
• How to successfully create value in this new model? 7 guidelines

In a creative group breakout, you will be able to apply guidelines and tools directly, creating a new networked business concept.
Victor, co-founder of Snappcar is participating and will discuss his business model as well.

The controversy around the ending of the video game franchise Mass Effect ( specifically in mass effect 3) is an excellent example of the new ownership at work. EA & Bioware created an amazing franchise in Mass Effect, one with Hollywood big budget development ties. Mass Effect 3 sold 6-7 million units (approx) worldwide. yet the end of the 3rd game has created a controversy among the fans, with Facebook pages, you tube reviews & rants and even raising money for charity in the UK coming from one point. Fans do not like the ending they where given and are asking for more choice in the possible ending. (yes - Bioware says there 16 different endings but in reality there are 16 different variations after one point in the narrative that is the same point in every ending) .

What makes this an example of the new ownership is - EA & Bioware are listening and considering releasing more endings.
